What is a Mandalorian?
The Mandalorians (called Mando'ade in Mando'a, meaning "children of Mandalore") were a warlike, nomadic group of clan-based people consisting of members from multiple species. Often, they served as mercenaries and bounty hunters.

Their culture revolved around that of battle and war being a source of honor and pride in their community. The leader of the Mandalorians typically took on the title of "Mandalore."

In later years Mandalorian Warriors wore very distinctive battle helmets with T-shaped visors that covered the entirety of their faces, which would provide inspiration for the helmets of the clone troopers. These helmets would eventually become strongly associated with the Mandalorian people.

The Mandalorians were nomadic warriors, despite the fact that they had the home world of Mandalore. The Mandalorians kept their nomadic ways so that in the event of attack, there would be no easy way to exterminate the Mandalorians. They also built no straight roads on Mandalore in order to make it much easier to ambush and pin down any invaders. Tactics such as these contributed to the Mandalorians' survival over thousands of years. This also meant that many Mandalorians had never visited Mandalore.

Individual Mandalorians were independent warriors, bound together by the same culture. Each piece of Mandalorian steel was created, chosen and customized by a Mandalorian to their level of skill. The armor had great cultural significance for the Mandalorians, and each set told about the Mandalorian underneath. However, there was a saying in Mando'a: Verd ori'shya beskar'gam, meaning a warrior is more than his armor.

Not all Mandalorians constantly fought on the front line. There were farmers, regular factory workers, engineers, and doctors too. However, all Mandalorians were warriors at heart, and all knew how to fight.

There were six acts one needed to follow to be a Mandalorian, known as Resol'Nare (Six Actions). They consisted of: wearing armor, speaking Mando'a, defending themselves and families, raising children as Mandalorians, helping the clan succeed and sustain itself, and when called to arms by the Mandalore, rally to his cause.

The only leader of the Mandalorians was the Mandalore himself, and he held his rank as long as he commanded the respect of his fellow warriors. In battle, Mandalorians would be assigned to different squads and jobs, depending on their area of expertise. The Mandalorians worked together to the best of their ability in battle. Mandalorians were not promoted to better jobs, since they did not have jobs—only in battle would some kind of organization need to occur. [/blockquote]

What does being a Mando'ad on Darjani mean?
Mandalorian is a Beta Class on Darjani. It is a Beta Class, that must be unlocked through a series of events the player undergoes. Mando'ade on Darjani:

- Are always overt imperial or rebel.
- Are able to switch factions without any penalties.
- After changing faction the player must wait 12 hours to change faction again.
- Can be targeted for Bounty Hunter missions.
- Can lose combat experience, possibly a skill-box loss, if killed.
- Must learn Master Bounty Hunter, Master Squad Leader, or Master Commando in addition to a melee profession to be able to start learning the Mandalorian profession.
- Are granted use of a special weapon.
- Will be able to master 3-4 regular combat professions and will receive bonus stats.
- Have their own language, Mando'a, that they are able to communicate in.

Is there only one style of armor available?
When you choose your Mandalorian armor pieces, you will be able to choose from 3 different sets: Normal Mandalorian (Boba armor), Restuss Imperial (Neo crusader, or KotOR armor), and Restuss Rebel armor. The first set of armor you get will be the normal Mandalorian armor and will have junky stats due to it being durasteel. As you advance through the ranks and are given more pieces of Mandalorian armor you will be able to choose what style you want for each piece.

What ranks are available to Mando'ade, and what do I get for gaining a higher rank?
Mand'alor - Mandalore (1)- There is only one. This man is recognized around the galaxy as one of the most influential and feared warriors alive. Mand'alor must be respected by all other Mandalorians regardless of their faction or political beliefs. He is a very high profile target for those wishing to have him removed, and thus his armor is the highest grade beskar'gam in existence. (Very high stat armor. Includes cloak and Kama)

Al'verde - Commander (2)- These men are second only to Mand'alor. The honor of this rank far outweighs any possible material rewards.

Ori'Ramikad - Colonel (5)- Once you have reached the high position of Ori'Ramikad, you are given a Kama. This half-skirt is as much a symbol of status as it is protection, and it will help protect you from shrapnel, heat, and blaster bolts. (Gain leggings with a Kama attached or perhaps a Kama that is attached to a belt and takes up that slot. Either way, it should provide additional protection against kinetic, heat, and energy damage.)

Ramikad - Major (10)- The only reward for this rank is the respect you may receive.

Alor'ad - Captain (20)- At this rank you are allowed the privilege of donning a cloak to wear. It is a symbol of status and nothing more. (Gain a cloak similar to Boba's. Possibly could have skill mods, but no protection at all.)

Ver'alor - Lieutenant (30)- Acquire beskar leg armor (High stat leggings and boots.)

Ori'ruus'alor - Master Sergeant (50)- Attain beskar arm armor (High stat biceps, bracers, and gloves.)

Ruus'alor - Sergeant (100)- Acquire Beskar chestplate. (High stat chestplate)

Alor'uus - Corporal (Unlimited)- You have begun to go to pains to attain a suit of beskar armor. So far you have a beskar helmet. (High stat helmet.)

Verd'ika - Private (Unlimited)- At this rank you are a grunt. An unknown, faceless Mandalorian who nobody has even heard of. The armor you attain is made of simple durasteel. (Low stat armor mainly for show.)

How do I advance in rank?
Through roleplaying, for one thing. Roleplaying isn't required, but it will allow you to climb through the ranks much faster than others. Another possible way to move forward in rank is through PvP. As you climb higher in the ranks of your faction (Be it Imperial or Rebel) you will be proving yourself a capable Mandalorian and can be considered for promotion.
Tip for roleplaying: I highly suggest you read through this section of the Wookieepedia Mandalorian page.

Who can become a Mandalorian?
The Mandalorians are a highly welcoming society.
[blockquote]Believing that aliit ori'shya tal'din (Family is More Than Bloodlines), it was common for orphaned children, and even adults, to be brought into the culture. The ceremony for adoption of a new Mandalorian is named gai bal manda, which means literally "name and soul". For the Mandalorians, there was no difference between a biological child and an adopted one.[/blockquote]
Everyone can become a Mandalorian except:

- Ithorians.
- Wookiees.
- Characters who are Jedi or a member of another beta class.
- Members of the Teras Kasi Order.

What does being a Mandalorian mercenary mean?
As most Mandalorians at this time are mercenaries, they receive a few special perks for their mercenary status.
- Able to switch factions quickly and without penalty.
- Able to purchase faction items at a discount in exchange for their services.
- Able to be 'hired' by a guild, in which case they'd be paid by the guild and in exchange they would temporarily become a member of that guild on the spot (To help in a raid or such.)
